VERITY 2021 Bioinformatics Course on Bioinformatics in Clinical Data

Given the wonderful success of last year’s all-virtual VERITY/Brigham Course in Rheumatology Clinical Research and the recent success of the virtual VERITY Methodology Course held in March, VERITY will now be hosting the upcoming VERITY 2021 Course on Bioinformatics in Clinical Data.

This course will be two 2-hour sessions hosted by VERITY faculty discussing bioinformatics uses, machine learning, and natural language processing (NLP) using clinical data. Please find addition information about the course below. Contact Jackie Stratton with any further questions.

When will the course be held? 

The two sessions will be held on Wednesday, June 9 (Session 1) AND Wednesday, June 16 from 2:00-4:00PM ET (Session 2). View the course schedule. This session will be held completely virtually.

Who is eligible to attend the course?

Content is most applicable to junior faculty and fellows interested in pursuing a career in academic medicine in adult/pediatric rheumatology or other musculoskeletal diseases. Other faculty, residents, medical students, post-doctoral fellows, and graduate students are also welcome to attend.

How much does the course cost?

The cost of the course is $100. The cost covers both sessions. The cost cannot be split between the sessions. Payment details will be sent to you by project manager, Jackie Stratton, after you have registered for the course.

How do you register for the course?

Register for the course. Please complete the full registration, including information about payment. Registration is due by Thursday, June 3, by 12:00PM ET. After the registration due date passes, all registered attendees will receive information about how to join the course.
