2022 VERITY/Brigham Course in Rheumatology Clinical Research
The 2022 VERITY/Brigham Course in Rheumatology Clinical Research will be held May 16-19, 2020 in Boston, MA at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. The VERITY Course is a 4-day course aimed at early-stage (typically residents, fellows or junior faculty) investigators pursuing clinical/patient-oriented/epidemiologic research studies in rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases. Participants will develop or refine a research protocol or specific aims for a grant proposal during the course. The course is paid for by a grant from NIH-NIAMS and thus free to attendees.
All application materials for the 2022 VERITY/Brigham Course in Rheumatology Clinical Research are due by 11:59pm on February 1, 2022.
2022 COURSE FORMAT: We will follow all public health guidelines regarding COVID, but we plan on a hybrid format. This will allow those accepted into the course to attend either in-person or virtually. In-person attendance will facilitate faculty and attendee interaction. However, we will arrange for Zoom one-on-one meetings and small breakouts for those who are not on-site. We will offer a limited number of travel scholarships.
*Proof of COVID-19 vaccination will be required to attend the course in-person.
